I just read several of your posts from the past months to this point. This particular post struck a cord with me. Your insights take me to a course I recently completed: TED* Foundations- Coaching With The Empowerment Dynamic. https://theempowermentdynamic.com. We, as leaders, often start with the question "what is the problem" versus "what are we creating" or "what do we want to create". You, in my opinion, say the same: "If your leadership team is spending significant time debating priorities across functions, ask a harder question: do we have a shared, specific answer to what the growth model is optimizing for right now?" In my world, 'optimizing' is very similar to 'creating for the better'. This is a difficult shift to go from problem solving to creating/creating and it's a shift into being able to take the actions needed. Problem solving creates so many of the hurdles you discuss with Growh Recalibrated.

"Creating for the better" might actually be sharper language than "optimizing," since optimizing still implies you're fixing something rather than choosing a direction. Appreciate you connecting it to a framework TED* Foundations, going to look into that.
